Why patients travel to Istanbul for dental treatment
Dental treatment in Turkey is generally more affordable than in many European countries. The difference comes from lower operating costs, not from lower material standards: the implant systems, abutments and ceramic materials used here are the same international brands used elsewhere. Istanbul also has direct flights from most European cities, so the journey is short.

How treatment is planned
Planning always starts with an examination and a panoramic X-ray; when necessary, a three-dimensional scan (CBCT) is taken. These images show the bone volume and the position of anatomical structures, which determine whether grafting is needed and where the implants can be placed. You receive a written treatment plan that lists the planned procedures before anything is started.
How long does it take
For a straightforward single implant, the implant is usually placed in one appointment and the crown is fitted after the healing period. Full-arch treatments require more than one visit. The exact schedule depends on bone quality, the number of implants and the healing response, and is confirmed for your own case at the examination. Many patients arrange two visits: the first for surgery, the second for the final prosthesis.
What the fee depends on
The total fee depends on the implant brand, the number of implants, the type of abutment and superstructure, and whether additional procedures such as grafting are required. The exact figure is given in a written quote after the examination and X-ray; we do not quote a fixed price before seeing your case.
Your visit: travel and accommodation
Our clinic is located in Küçükçekmece, on the European side of Istanbul, next to the Cennet metrobus stop. Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) both connect to the city by metro, metrobus and taxi. Hotels in the surrounding district are within walking distance of the clinic, and we can advise on appointment times so that your travel days and treatment days do not overlap unnecessarily.
Before you travel
Please send us your panoramic X-ray if you already have one, together with a short description of your complaint. This allows a first assessment before you arrive. If you take medication for a chronic condition, or if you have a condition that affects healing, tell us in advance so that we can plan accordingly.
Frequently asked questions
Can treatment be completed in one trip?
In some cases the implant can be placed and a temporary restoration fitted during a single visit, but the final prosthesis requires a second visit after healing. Your own schedule is set out in the written plan.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Correspondence and appointments for international patients are handled in English; please state your preferred language when you contact us.
What should I do if something feels wrong after I return home?
Contact the clinic first — most early complaints are managed with advice or a short medication course. If a follow-up visit is needed, it is planned together with you.
